Halstead Town manager Mark Benterman says his team must treat today’s Thurlow Nunn League division one game against Swaffham Town as a cup final as they look for the first of the nine wins he feels will seal their promotion this year.
Benterman said: “I’ve learned this year that against the better sides, the players’ own expectations rise.
“We will treat this game like it’s a cup final."
The game at Rosemary Lane kicks off at 3pm today.
