Julian Simon-Parson is confident that Halstead Town can achieve their promotion goal this year.
The attacking midfielder was part of the Brightlingsea Regent side that climbed out of Thurlow Nunn League division one and into the premier division last season so knows what it takes to make the step up.
Halstead have their sights on replicating that this season and Simon-Parson feels his new team have what it takes to achieve that.
He said: “The club have got some really good players here this season.
“I played in this league last year and with the players that we’ve got here we can mix it up.
“We have to put away a few more chances, but I have a lot of confidence that we can get promoted this year with the squad that we have.”
