Roots Hall stadium in Southend
A MAN wanted in connection to a fight at Roots Hall stadium has been identified, police say.
Essex Police launched an appeal to identify a man sought in connection to an incident at the stadium last month.
A spokesman said: "We are no longer looking to identify a man we had wanted to speak to in connection with an offence of affray at Southend United’s Roots Hall stadium on April 24.
"Officers have had contact with a man since we issued our appeal.
"Thank you for sharing and supporting our appeal."
