QUICK thinking police officers arrested two suspects just ten minutes after a gang broke into a Southend home.
Essex Police received reports that a group of people had broken into an address in York Road, Southend and attacked a resident.
The incident took place in the early hours of this morning.
Officers attended the area and within ten minutes arrested two men – aged 26 and 30 – on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
A short time later a 40 year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

Another man, aged 40, has also been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and driving while unfit through drugs.
All four suspects remain in custody.
The police are appealing for any information, CCTV or dash-cam footage of the burglary.
