A MAN was stabbed in the arm after being followed by two teenagers on bikes.

The victim, in his 50s, was followed by the pair on Boscombe Road, Southend before they stabbed him on the nearby Guildford Road.

The teenagers had dissapeared from the victim's view before returning "soon after."

The Echo understands the victim was approached from behind before he was stabbed at around 7.30pm on Saturday.

He did not require any hospital treatment for his injuries.

This comes only a week after 18-year-old Luke Bellfield was stabbed to death.

A teenager was then chased through Chalkwell Park by a gang armed with two machetes just days later.
