Police worked to uncover a cannabis farm hidden in an upstairs bedroom.
Crews from the Essex Police community policing team joined together with colleagues from the Operational Support Group to carry out a drugs raid.
On Friday (March 5), the team took to an address in Canvey and discovered a cannabis cultivation in an upstairs bedroom.
Two people - a 17-year-old boy and a 55-year-old woman - were arrested at the scene.
The force say both have been interviewed and released under investigation while their enquiries continue.

A spokesperson from Essex Police, said: "Along with our colleagues from the Operational Support Group, the community policing team executed a drugs warrant at an address on Canvey on Friday March 5.
"Officers discovered a cannabis cultivation in an upstairs bedroom, two persons were arrested at the scene, a boy aged 17 and a woman aged 55.
"Both have been interviewed and released under investigation whilst our enquiries continue."
