Men arrested after throwing 'large bag of drugs' outside car window
TWO men have been arrested for drugs offences on Canvey after officers stopped a car in Venlo Road on Sunday.
A 49-year-old man from Canvey and a 34-year-old man from Plaistow, London, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis.
Officers from Operational Support Group reported that they stopped a car in Venlo Road at around 11pm on Sunday September 20, where the passenger then ran off, throwing a large bag of drugs, before he was detained.
One of the men was also arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
They have been released under investigation.
