No new Covid-19 deaths recorded in last 24 hours in south Essex
No new Covid-19 deaths have been recorded across south Essex in the last 24 hours.
In its daily update, NHS England announced that both Basildon Hospital and Southend Hospital did not record any new deaths related to coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
The number of Covid-19 deaths at Southend Hospital remains at 247.
While at Basildon Hospital, the total is still 306 deaths.
The total number of deaths across the country linked to Covid-19 now stands at 29,175, up from 29,162 recorded deaths at this time yesterday.
In the north of the county, no new deaths were recorded at the East Suffolks and North Essex NHS Trust. The total number of deaths for the trust remains at 353.
