OFFICERS rushed to Chalkwell Park last night for what is believed to have been a stabbing - although this has not yet been confirmed.
An air ambulance also landed in the Westcliff park at London Road.
Police cordoned off the area on the cricket field next to the cricket club and basketball courts.
Several officers guarded the area while three police cars were out the front of the park on the London Road, with officers talking to two men who appeared to be distressed.

Mr Williams, 35, who was cycling through the park at the time of air ambulance landing, said: "I was riding my bike through Chalkwell Park about 7pm and I saw loads of police and the air ambulance.
Cordon - police had taped off an area of the park
"There were lots of people on the lawn.
"I asked a couple of people what was going on and they said a teenager had been stabbed and a group of people were being dealt with by police.
"It's just not on."
Many visitors to the park stayed put despite the commotion.
Police were still present at the scene at 10pm last night.
