Police in Southend were called to Rayleigh Road, Eastwood, earlier this morning after a Ford Transit was involved in a collision.

A picture posted on Twitter at 8.30am by officers shows the van's front left tyre had been ripped off in the smash.
A driver was arrested at the scene, with officers saying they were 'under the influence of drink and drugs'.
