A primary school has been forced to close for the rest of the day due to a loss of power.
Richmond Avenue Primary School, in Shoebury, has closed for this afternoon after it was confirmed that the school has lost power today.
Southend Council tweeted: "Richmond Avenue Primary School is closed this afternoon as they have no power."
