THE Royals shopping centre in Southend has delayed opening today following the aftermath of Storm Dennis.
Centre bosses posted on social media at 11.30am on Sunday, saying the Royals would not be open until plant equipment is made safe.
The equipment is on Debenhams' roof.
Bosses apologised for any inconvenience.
Storm Dennis raged across the country last night and into this morning.
Meanwhile, Southend Pier and the Pier Hill lifts have re-opened.
Following a thorough inspection, Southend-on-Sea Pier has reopened to the public. There are limited facilities at the pierhead; the tearoom is open (cash only)& toilets. The Pier Hill lifts have also reopened but the Cliff Lift remains closed. #StormDennis #Southend pic.twitter.com/OtrOPBhpKM
