A woman has been found dead at a home after concerns for a woman's welfare.
Residents spotted a number of emergency services including ambulances and four police cars in Caister Drive, Pitsea at around 3am yesterday.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "Police were contacted at 3.15am on Saturday May 25 by the ambulance service following concerns for the welfare of a woman inside a property in Caister Drive, Pitsea.
"Sadly, after firefighters gained entry, a woman in her 30s was found dead inside the property. Her death is being treated as unexplained.
"Two men also inside the property, a 39-year-old and a 47-year-old were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
"The 39-year-old man has been released under investigation and the other man remains in custody."
