A car crash caused structural damaged to a retirement complex.
The vehicle knocked out part of a wall at Elizabeth House, Rayleigh Road, Eastwood, last night.
Images from the scene showed debris in front of the complex.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "Police were contacted by the ambulance service at just before 4.20pm on Friday May 24 following reports of a collision on Rayleigh Road, Eastwood.
"Officers attended the scene and found the driver of a car, a woman in her 80s, had been in collision a wall and the front of a retirement home.
"The woman was not injured and the front of the building was cordoned off due to structural damage."
