A DRIVER has had multiple bones broken in a crash in Basildon.
Essex Police have issued a renewed appeal for witnesses and dash cam footage following the crash which happened on Sunday at around 7.40am on the A176 Nethermayne.
It involved a red Honda motorbike and a white Mercedes Sprinter.
The road was closed both ways from Ashdon Way to The Knares with traffic being diverted.
A large number of emergency services were on the scene
The motorbike rider, a 33-year-old man from Basildon, suffered multiple broken bones.
The driver of the Mercedes has been reported for careless driving.
Witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage should call Chigwell Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting incident 311 of April 7.
