A man has died following a crash in Runwell.
Police were called shortly before 8.50pm yesterday, Wednesday 20 March, with reports a Honda Civic had left the road and overturned on Brock Hill.
Sadly the driver, a man aged in his 20s, died at the scene.
Police are appealing for any witnesses, in particular the occupants of a white Mercedes and a small hatchback car displaying L plates, which were seen in the area at the time.
The force also want to speak to any other witnesses and drivers with dash cam footage.
A spokesman for Essex fire said: "A man has died following a road traffic collision in Runwell.
"We were called shortly before 8.50pm yesterday, Wednesday 20 March, with reports a Honda Civic had left the road and overturned on Brock Hill.
"Sadly the driver, a man aged in his 20s, died at the scene.
"We are appealing for any witnesses, in particular the occupants of a white Mercedes and a small hatchback car displaying L plates, which were seen in the area at the time.
"We also want to speak to any other witnesses and drivers with dash cam footage."
