FIREFIGHTERS tackled a burning oil tanker on farm in Orsett.
Three firecrews, two from Grays and one from Orsett fire station were called to the farm in Brentwood Road just before 5.30pm tonight and are at the scene.
Two cooling jets were used to fight the fire and metal sheets were removed from the silo to access insulation behind it, which had caught fire.
Fire has been extinguished by 8.20pm using two hose reel jets and a thermal image camera was used to check for any hot spots.
Crews revisited incident scene to cool the tanker down at 9:20pm.
