POLICE have confirmed a man's body was found in a Colchester park this morning.
Officers were called with concerns for the welfare of a man in Kings Meadow, in Colchester, shortly after 5.10am.
Police arrived, and sadly found the man had died.
A spokesman for the force said: "There are no suspicious circumstances around his death and a file will be prepared for the coroner."

A cordon was put in place in a section of lower Castle Park this morning.
It was removed at about 10.20am.
