AN air ambulance attended a crash involving three vehicles which saw a man taken to hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
The three-vehicle collision, which occurred just before 5pm, blocked part of the A12 near Colchester.
The northbound carriageway was blocked just before junction 29, the Ardleigh Crown and A120 interchange.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “An ambulance and the East Anglian Air Ambulance attended a road traffic accident on the A12 near Stratford St Mary just before 5pm.
“An adult male was transported by land to Colchester General Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
