PONTOONS in Harwich are back open for overnight stays.
The Ha’Penny Pier pontoons reopened for boaters on Saturday, July 4.
The stays will be for a maximum of two nights and no fees will be charged.
A Harwich Haven Authority spokesman said: “Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer toilet and shower facilities to visiting sailors however the public toilets – located on The Quay, opposite Ha’penny Pier – are open from 10am to 8pm seven days a week.
“Please follow the guidance for use notices we have issued at all times, which are located across the pontoons and Ha’penny Pier.”
