A KIND-hearted eight-year-old rode 50 miles on her bike in just a day in a bid to raise money for the NHS.
Friar's Grove Primary School pupil Chloe Long took on the challenge on Saturday, riding all across Colchester through the bank holiday sunshine.
Donations have flooded in from friends and family and so far Chloe has raised £325, which she wants to donate to Colchester Hospital.
Mum Megan Rowley said: "My partner has done lots of charity cycle rides and we always go along and meet him at the finishing line.
"Chloe has wanted to join in and do one herself for a while.
"Seeing everyone fundraising for the NHS made her want to do something so she came up with the idea.
"She has been growing in confidence on her bike since the start of lockdown.
"She looked fresh as a daisy when she got back."
