A former pub which featured on a prime time BBC TV series is up for sale.

The Cock Inn, in Beazley End, has been put on the market for £825,000 following a conversion into a four-bedroom cottage.

The watering hole famously appeared in the 1992 TV series of Lovejoy, and hit the headlines again in 2006 when it was bought by the Fifteen Foundation - a charity run by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.

It was seen back on TV soon after when it was used as the prize destination for the winning chef in Jamie Oliver's reality show, 'Jamie's Chef'.

Thought to be more than 400 years old, The Cock Inn was first listed as a public house in the 1800s.

The final pint was pulled at the pub in 2013 when it closed for the final time.

Having now been converted into a home and renamed Lime Tree Cottage, the former pub is being marketed by estate agents Yopa who are looking for offers in excess of the £825,000 asking price.
