A LEADING cruise retailer has donated thousands of pounds to help fight the Australian bushfires and will now fundraise for a cancer charity for the remainder of its 25th anniversary year.
ROL Cruise, located in Lexden Road, Colchester, is an independent, cruise-only travel specialist.
Every year, the holiday company, which employs a team of more than 130 people, nominates a charitable organisation to which it will aim to donate a substantial amount of money.
This year, ROL Cruise has nominated Macmillan Cancer Support as its chosen charity which will benefit from a series of fundraising events.
In celebration of its anniversary, the company has also already donated $10,000 to the Australian Red Cross following the bush fires.
