A ROAD has been closed to all traffic due to fallen power lines in Lawford.
Colchester Road, between Mill Hill and Waldergrave Way, is currently shut due to fallen power lines.
Essex Police made residents aware of the incident via social media at about 10.45am today (Tuesday).
A spokesman for Essex Police said UK Power Networks are aware and en route to the incident.
A Power Networks UK spokesman said: "Our engineers are working as quickly and safely as possible to repair an overhead cable on Colchester Road in Lawford.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
"This is not affecting power supplies in the area."
