RESIDENTS are being invited on a festive treasure hunt.
Harwich International Shanty Festival’s Annual Treasure Hunt will be taking place around the streets of Harwich on Monday, December 30.
The hunt starts at noon at The Alma Inn, in King’s Head Street.
A Harwich International Shanty Festival spokesman said: “This is a walking tour which provides a fun activity for all the family, with question sheets for both adults and children.
“It gives a good opportunity to get out in the fresh air and walk off some of the festive overindulgence while searching for and solving the clues.
“Adult and children’s question sheets must be collected from the Alma Inn between noon and 1.30pm.
“Sheets must be back for marking by 3.30pm.
“There will be prizes for the winners.”
The entry fee is £3 per person or £8 per family.
