A COUNTRY park is hosting two seasonal events.
There will be a children’s woodland wreath making event on December 20 at High Woods Country Park in Colchester and a New Year’s Day walk.
The three mile walk, which will be led by a ranger, will be followed by restorative mulled wine and a mince pie.
Mark Cory, Colchester Council leader, said: “High Woods Country Park is a fantastic green space which everyone can enjoy and these seasonal events are perfect for those wanting to get outdoors, enjoy the environment and get their new year off to a great start.”
Tickets can only be bought from the Visitor Information Centre at Hollytrees Museum or by phone on 01206 282920.
