A SELFLESS woman is shaving her head for charity to support her auntie who was diagnosed with cancer last month.
Louise Killick, 22, from Watford, will be donating her hair to the Little Princess Trust and raising money through Macmillan’s Brave the Shave campaign.
Her auntie, Sandra Scott, 49, from Little Clacton, was diagnosed with breast cancer a month ago and will soon start chemotherapy.
Louise’s grandmother Rita Kempster, 76 - who lives in Harwich - is Sandra’s mum and she is going to attend Louise’s head shave.
Louise said: “I’m a bridesmaid in April so it’s really terrifying.
“I’m not shaving my whole hair off, but I’m cutting it very short.
“At the end of the day my aunt will be losing all her hair, and this is the least I could do to show my support.”
Louise said she often visits her grandmother in Harwich.
She is going to shave her head on Saturday, November 16 at Hoop Haircutters, in North Road, Clacton, where her auntie and grandmother will be with her.
