AN application for more than 100 homes in Lawford has been put forward.
A reserved matters application with details of appearance, landscaping, layout and scale of 140 on land east of Bromley Road, has been submitted to Tendring Council.
The design and access statement, submitted to Tendring Council’s planning portal, said: “The landscaped perimeter of the site will provide benefits for local biodiversity, as well as retaining the character of Bromley Road/Dead Lane.
“The news homes have good sized private gardens, ample off-street parking provision and include capacity for the storage of cycles and refuse.
“Sustainable drainage infrastructure, such as swales, are utilised to manage surfacer water runoff and the highways are designed to meet the necessary safety standards and augment the different character areas of the site.”
