Scene - Main Road, Dovercourt
PART of a busy road has been shut because of what is believed to be a serious police incident.
Main Road, Dovercourt, is closed close to the Mayflower Medical Centre.
The road is closed between Manor Road and Parkeston Road.
Rush hour traffic is being diverted meaning the surrounding streets are much busier than usual.
At least four police cars are at the scene.
Essex Police have been contacted.
