A ROCK choir which took part in one of the biggest music events in the country is supporting people living with dementia.
The Rock Choir team from Colchester is collaborating with BBC Music Day to help bring music and singing to everyone living with dementia.
The choir will be reaching out to individuals who have, in some way, been affected by dementia either through their own personal experience or by close contact with a family member or friend.
The choir will be inviting the carers of anyone affected by dementia to attend one of their rehearsals free of charge.
The Colchester team has already joined 10,000 other choir members at the BBC Proms in the Park event in Hyde Park in London.
Any carers who would like to join a free Rock Choir session can visit www.rockchoir.com or call 01252 714276 to book a place
