South Woodhams’ favourite festival is returning once again this bank holiday weekend.

The annual SWFest will take place at William de Ferrers School playing fields on Sunday August 25 from 10am – 5pm.

Organised by Chelmsford City Events, festival-goers can enjoy live music celebrating the best of local talent.

Acts are set to include Josh Brough, Beau Langdale, In Earnest, BLOW the band, Leanne Louise, Paolo Morena and the Revenants.

Marie Goldman, cabinet member for Connected Chelmsford, says “SWFest is a great local festival located in the heart of South Woodham Ferrers.

“The local support over the past three years has been fantastic and we hope to see more families attend the festival again this year enjoying their bank holiday weekend.”

There will be plenty of free activities to keep guests entertained such as inflatables (even for the adults), arts & crafts, walkabout entertainment, soft play and a petting zoo.

Paid activities including face painting and archery will also be available.

There is no need to book, just turn up and have fun.
