YOUNG performers dazzled crowds at a world famous holiday resort.

Performing a special showcase of their talents, 40 students from Frinton’s Stagestruck Academy visited Disneyland Paris on Tuesday.

They auditioned for the opportunity to dance at the resort and were chosen to perform their own 20 minute showcase at the Videopolis Theatre.

The theatre is home to this year’s The Lion King spectacular, which is running at the venue this summer.

The students and their families travelled to Paris earlier this week.

Simone Castle, principal, said: “It is such an exciting opportunity for students of all ages to perform at such an exciting place and lovely for family and friends to be able to come and support and join in the fun.”

Stagestruck Academy were in Disneyland Paris for three days and also got a chance to enjoy the park’s attractions and rides.
