POLICE are appealing for information after a woman woke up to find an intruder in her house.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw a man acting suspiciously in Wick Lane, Dovercourt after a woman found a man in her home.
The 42-year-old victim woke shortly after 4am on Sunday, July 14, to find a man had entered the house.
He left the property and nothing was believed to have stolen.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "The suspect was described as white, between 5ft 8ins and 6ft tall, and of medium build.
"He had stubble on his face and wore a red hoodie.
"Witnesses are asked to call DC Keith Hewitt in Clacton CID on 101 quoting reference 42/111718/19."
