STAFF from a property firm took to the pitch as they raised £1,200 for a hospice.
Ingleton Wood, based at Colchester Business Park, tied up their laces for the tournament in aid of St Elizabeth Hospice.
A total of £1,276 was raised for the hospice – enough to fund 43 hours of nursing care for an in-patient.
Jazmin Peach, corporate fundraiser at St Elizabeth Hospice, said: “We would like to thank everybody who took part in the football tournament. The day was a lot of fun and it was lovely to see so many companies getting involved again this year.”
Financial services firm Scrutton Bland were crowned the 2019 winners after a hotly contested final.
David Cresswell, partner at Ingleton Wood, said: “We enjoyed another hugely successful tournament and I’d like to thank everyone who attended for their incredible support.”
