After a last-minute change to the main event of SOS: Unfinished Business at the Royal Oak football ground, a winner takes all match saw Corey McRae take on Harry Mant for both the Wrestling League Grand Prix and the Wrestling League Championship.

The event, dubbed the biggest School of Slam show in history, saw Harry win to become the first person to hold both championships at the same time.

SOS champion Nick Payne, who walked out wearing a Little Oakley FC shirt, retained his championship title against contender Aaron Warnes.

He said: “These sort of days bring a whole different feel to the community, the community that I love to annoy.”

Aaron said: “I grew up here playing in this ground as a kid and it was good to come back in a different sport. There was a big crowd, everyone got behind everyone and the crowd enjoyed it, which is why we all love to do this.

It’s an individual sport, but everyone is working together on the same show and it’s amazing.”
