A MEDICAL centre has updated its parking restrictions to deter drivers taking up spaces for patients.
Longfield Medical Centre in Maldon now has its car park managed by Creative Car Park Management Service.
The service will be in place at all times including bank holidays and weekends.
A spokesman said: “It is highly recommended your car is registered with the reception or pharmacy at any time of attending.
“Patients visiting the surgery or pharmacy will need to register their car registration plate every time.
“There is a drop-off period of ten minutes maximum without the need to register your car number.”
The spokesman warned drivers who do not register their car will face consequences.
He added: “There is a time allowance of one and a half hours maximum to park for your visit.
“Please be aware any time exceeding the above times will be liable to a fine of £100.”
