REVELLERS gathered at an annual event of classic cars and flying feats at Stow Maries Aerodrome.

The third Wings and Wheels event took place on Sunday.

The site welcomed the Essex section of the Vintage Motor Cycle Club, with machines ranging from the early 1900s to 1975.

There was also a display of iconic Bond Bugs cars, Micro Minis and many other vintage and classic cars.

Several planes demonstrated their aviation skills. The BE2, SE5, Magister, Blackburn B2 and DH60 Moth took to the skies for a display, closing with the Turbulent Team who amazed the public with their aerial acrobatics.

A spokesman said the site was its busiest yet, with the Mess and barbecue in full swing.
