Wendy Stamp has again been elected as mayor of Burnham.
The newly elected Maldon District Councillor was the only candidate put forward by her fellow Burnham Town Council members at their annual meeting on May 15.
Mrs Stamp will serve for the next council year as mayor.
Her deputy was also decided on the night, with the outstanding candidate being Nick Skeens.
Mr Skeens, who has also recently been elected as Burnham South councillor for Maldon District will serve as Mrs Stamp's deputy for the year.
He will replace Louise Pudney, who was thanked for her work in the past year by Burnham Town Council.
