A GROUP of adults with learning disabilities will take to the stage for an all-singing and all-dancing show at the Mercury Theatre.

After the success of a performance at the theatre last year, Crafty Drama will return to the venue next month for its latest show Take 2.

An evening of singing, dancing and sign language, the show will feature performances of a range of pop music hits from artists like Abba, S Club 7 and Eva Cassidy.

Crafty Drama is run by Essex County Council's Essex Cares Limited and profits from the show will help support the group and the organisation's other projects.

Karen Hales, area business manager for Essex Cares Limited, said: "We are really proud of our Crafty Drama customers for landing another professional theatre performance, and Take 2 is set to be a fantastic show.

"We help our customers gain the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for everyday life and I believe that this performance is a valuable step towards helping to achieve that."

Take 2 takes place on Saturday, May 25, from 7pm.

Tickets cost £13.50 and can be purchased from the Mercury Theatre or online at www.mercurytheatre.co.uk/event/crafty-drama-presents-take-two.
