POLICE are investigating after a man suffered head injuries in the early hours of the morning.
Officers were called to Queen Street, Colchester, shortly before 2am on Thursday.
The victim, a man aged in his 20s, was been taken to hospital with head injuries.
They are not life-threatening or life-changing and he was discharged from hospital before 10am on Thursday.
A 21-year-old man from Bristol has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in custody while police enquiries continue.
