FIREFIGHTERS cut a casualty free from a lorry after a crash.
The smash in Maldon Road, Birch, happened just before 9am on Thursday.
The lorry and a car were involved.
A pair of fire crews from Colchester attended the scene, along with another from Tiptree.
They worked with paramedics to free a person who was trapped in the lorry.
Within an hour they were released and left in the car of the ambulance service.
