Mick Skeels, Tendring Council's cabinet member for leisure and tourism, said there was something for everyone.

“In February half term the weather can often be too gloomy to get out and explore the great outdoors, but you can still have plenty of fun in the great indoors,” he said.

“There are activities suitable for all ages and interests taking place at our leisure centres, and I would urge you to have a look at what’s on when making your half term plans.

“It’s a great way to help keep young people active during the holiday as part of our livewell initiative.”

Booking is recommended as activities can become full.
