A rotary club has been commended for its support of Maldon in Bloom.
The Rotary Club of Maldon received a gold award from the group for its continuous donations of plants, baskets and banners at sites used as part of Maldon's entries in preparation for the annual Britain and Bloom competition.
President of the rotary club, Judy Smith took accepted the gold certificate at an event alongside Dorreen Linton, president of Maldon in Bloom.
Mrs Smith said: "The club are so proud to support Maldon in Bloom which, like rotary is an entirely voluntary organisation."
