A MUM who teaches the art of baby massage and yoga is set to mark one year in business.

Natasha Wright, 35, of Heybridge, is a qualified baby massage instructor.

She runs weekly Basking Baby classes across Maldon, Danbury and South Woodham Ferrers.

Just ten years ago few new parents would have heard about the techniques, but Natasha says it has really taken off.

“The year has gone very well with waiting lists,” she said.

“Baby massage is very popular due to the huge benefits and baby yoga is fun and interactive.”

Baby massage has been practiced around many parts of the world for centuries with benefits including alleviation and prevention of colic and helping minor health issues such as wind and constipation.

Natasha was inspired to become a franchisee after attending the classes with her daughter Darcey, now two.

She added: “Since becoming an instructor I have discovered further the wonders and benefits the magic of massage can bring to both parent and baby.

“Being a parent can be hard at times and our classes allow you the opportunity to relax and connect with your baby while sharing parenting worries and achievements with other parents.”

Natasha is hosting a special anniversary session to mark the occasion in January.

In the New Year she hopes to add reflexology courses.
