A FESTIVAL full of technology enthralled both young and old.

Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome, in Purleigh, put on the Lift Off Tech Festival on Saturday.

Interactive activities included drone flying, virtual reality simulators, robotics and 3D printing.

Aerospace company Raytheon was also on site as well as Dawn Patrol.

A spokesman for Stow Maries said: “Children enjoyed the opportunity to make chip cone rockets, rocket cars, use the 3D printing machines, Robotics and Raspberry Pi.

“There was also interactive audience participation in the building of a third scale model of a Hawker Hurricane with demonstrations.”
