MULTIPLE bungalows and houses are set to be built in north Burnham after three successful appeals.
A bid for 11 bungalows near Stoney Hills in Burnham was initially refused by Maldon District Council earlier this year, along with two separate applications for one house and two houses in the same area, in each case the officer decision to approve was overturned.
However, all three of these decisions were appealed by developers, which were concluded at the end of September, with the planning inspector in all cases siding with the developer, meaning all applications are set to go ahead.
The inspector has also granted all costs from the appeal to be paid to the developers.
