A NEW textiles exhibition will be on display in Maldon this month.
The Finders Keepers Tales in Textiles! exhibition by artist Connie Flynn will be shown at the Maeldune Heritage Centre in Market Hill.
In June 2015, Connie was artist in residence at Sumburgh Lighthouse in Shetland in which she conducted research.
Using cloth to construct textile wall hangings decorated with surface effects and hand-stitched techniques, her sketchbook drawings came to life.
The exhibition will be displayed from October 5 to October 23.
Entry is free and the centre is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11am to 4pm.
There will also be an opportunity to meet the artist on October 6 at 2pm.
