A CAFÉ has put out an urgent appeal to restock their food bank after high demand left them with nothing.
St Peter’s Café in Spital Road urgently needs supplies to help out more than 39 families in the area, including 51 children as well as nine elderly residents.
Manager Julie Taylor said: “We have plenty of porridge and pasta but are in desperate need of things like baby milk, tins and jars of food, bottles of juice, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, washing powder, biscuits and more.
“Anything anyone can spare would be extremely appreciated.
“We have never been so low on stock so please help those who are struggling and less fortunate.”
If you have any items to donate, visit the Café from 8am to 3pm or call 01621 725354.
