A RUNNING club will run 100 miles to raise money for National Cholesterol Month.

The Tolleshunt Major Running Club are partnering up with lifestyle coach Emma Print for the Great Cholesterol Challenge run by HEART UK in October.

The race will be spread out over four Sundays.

Emma is from Maldon and is supporting the Great Cholesterol Challenge as she has been diagnosed with an inherited form of high cholesterol.

She said: “I was shocked when I was diagnosed with high cholesterol as I was very fit and had a low BMI.

“I know the importance of a healthy lifestyle and how campaigns such as the Great Cholesterol Challenge and healthy eating, can help lower cholesterol levels.”

The Great Cholesterol Challenge encourages individuals, and teams to run, walk, cycle, row or swim to raise money.
