A footballer who almost blinded a teenager when he bottled him in the face has been jailed.
Bradley Amos, 18, of Windmill Road, Halstead, admitted attacking the schoolboy but claimed he forgot he was holding a bottle at the time.
The victim's mum welcomed the six month sentence handed to Amos at Chelmsford Crown Court on Wednesday.
